Til The Morning

Written by: Laura Hackett Park

Verse 1

You can’t resist a broken heart

You find me every  time in the dark

Spirit, You rush in with warmth

Like the noonday sun

Patient You wait with me

Here in the shadows

Gently You’re pulling me up

From the ashes

I hold on tight to the promise

You won't let go, no You won't let go

Chorus

You hold me til the morning comes

And sing Your song of freedom love

I’m hiding in Your shadow

As You wash away the sadness

Again

Verse 2

So many reasons to be offended

So many rainclouds of disappointments

How is the heart of a dreamer to live like this

But You were the Man

With the heart that’s alive

Even in weakness You prayed

Through the night

You didn't run but You let out a cry

“Abba, Abba!  I am Yours!”
